Does a poem have to ryhme?
Does a poem really have to make much sense? The answer to that is no... well it does have to have some meaning for you to make it obviously otherwise anything could be a poem. Poems also do not have to rhyme.. most of the great poems in the world do not rhyme at all. Rhyming is a cheap poetry trick and does not really mean the poem is creative rather the poet was clever enough to match words which sound the same thus rhyme. Poems should be creative and there should be a inspired reason as to why you are writing one. Some great poets even make up there own words.. as lon g as the poem makes sense to them then it really doesn't matter... after all superficial art is communicating to the masses whereas real art is expressing personal emotion.
